- Travel south through rolling farmland to Rotorua, stopping at the world-famous Hobbiton Movie Set for lunch in the Party Marquee. Rotorua is the cultural heart of New Zealand and is famous for its geothermal landscapes, bubbling mud pools, steaming geysers, and rich Maori heritage.
