ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE FEES FOR CANCELLATION

Over the past several years the travel industry has experienced tremendous upheaval as a result of world and economic events. The predatory practices of a number of Internet travel sellers have placed increasing pressures on traditional agencies. Over 60% of the Travel Agencies that were in business in 2001 are now closed. Consequently, those who remain have had to seriously examine and modify their business practices in order to survive. One of these practices involve how much work is done for free by travel agents. It is a practice that left unchecked, has an adverse impact and can lead to a travel agencies demise. Generally, many people simply don't recognize or appreciate how much time, effort, knowledge and experience goes into researching, pricing and booking a cruise or other vacation package by a travel professional, especially when groups are involved. A cruise or vacation package is much more complex than booking an airline ticket. Simply put, you don't work for free and it is unreasonable to expect we should. Consequently, we charge a $100 per person Administrative Service Fee for cancellations after booking has been made. This is in addition to any cancellation fees charged by the cruise line or land vendor. 1/2 of the Administrative Service Fee may be applied to the final payment of any comparably priced cruise or land vacation package booked and deposited through World Voyager Vacations within 18 months of the cancellation date. We highly recommend Trip Protection Insurance to protect your investment in the event of an unexpected situation.
